The DigiEduHack 2020 event took place, in online format, on the 12th and 13th of November.

The Interdisciplinary Studies Research Center (ISRC) launched the challenge for students, faculty and researchers to participate. The challenge from Porto, entitled “Individual skills tracking for the 21st century”, was widely supported and aimed to identify individual profiles and performance levels in working groups using AI.

The initiative had 33 participants from all over the world, including students from ISEP. The team made up of Luciano Zickler, Felix Reimann (of German nationality) and Margareta Szego (of Romanian nationality) was the big winner.

The activities also included six speakers from different areas, a jury composed of six members - from the companies Farfetch, Outsystems, Porto Digital, University of Minho and INOV - and five mentors - from ISEP, Celfocus and Altran.

DigiEduHack promotes, every year, several events simultaneously, of the type idea-hackathons, worldwide. The main objective is to produce ideas and proofs of concept with a high impact on society, as well as solutions ready to be implemented. With a duration of two days, these events focus on co-creating the future of education in the digital age.
