Workshop and Technological Fair

The goal of the ALFA GAVIOTA project is to demonstrate the possibilities offered by Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in communication, research, development and innovation, in particular when these technologies are put to the service of social disadvantaged audiences. This is accomplished by creating a set of inexpensive laboratories and organizing workshops and technological fairs to use, demonstrate and deploy technologies related to Virtual and Augmented Reality. This way the project will allow the exploitation of the potential of these technologies by universities, companies and other organizations.

Workshop GAVIOTA 31 Oct / 14:00 – 17:30 (RESTRICTED ACCESS)

The GAVIOTA workshop consists of a set (9) of presentations on research and development activities in the fields of Virtual and Augmented Reality performed by members of the research groups involved in the project. In particular, the workshop focuses on the application of these technologies to Engineering and Architecture.


Technological Fair GAVIOTA 1 Nov / 14:00 – 17:30 (OPEN)

The technology fair includes the presentation of a practical and interactive set of AR and VR technologies and applications, with social and environmental impact, to demonstrate the possibilities of research, development and innovation of these technologies. Directed primarily to students by their engaging and demonstrative character (participants may try and use applications), the fair combines applications developed by the project partners with applications developed by external entities.
