Isabel Azevedo is an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering of the Technical University of Porto (ISEP), where she has taught since 1999. She holds a Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
Her professional activity combines teaching, supervision, course coordination, management responsibilities, and participation in research and innovation projects. Notably, she was Deputy Director of the Master’s in Informatics Engineering (MEI) from 2015 to 2026, contributing to its curricular revision and accreditation processes.
Her research focuses on software engineering, particularly model-driven engineering, domain-specific languages, software product lines, low-code platforms, software architecture, and software testing and quality.
