
Ivo Leite is a Portuguese researcher and member of the Software for Cyber Physical Systems (SoftCPS) research group at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP). He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering, specializing in Informatics Engineering.
Ivo Leite’s technical interests lie at the intersection of Cybersecurity and Edge Artificial Intelligence. His current research focuses on developing Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) for IoT networks, utilizing Deep Learning techniques on embedded high-performance hardware like the NVIDIA Jetson. He is driven by the challenge of implementing robust security solutions that operate in real-time environments, bridging the gap between theoretical models and practical network defense.
When he is away from the terminal and his research, Ivo Leite enjoys playing the violin, balancing the technical rigor of engineering with his passion for music.
