SoftCPS researcher Tiago Carvalho participated in the general meeting of the GenerIoT project, 16-17 January, in Vienna, Austria. One of the important topics in the agenda was the preliminary specification of the project demonstrators, a work package led by ISEP.
The GenerIoT project is developing new methods and technologies to simplify the handling of IoT SW across the entire DevOps cycle, accelerate development and thus enable continuous adaptations. Consistent, well-defined system models are at the core of the GenerIoT approach. They connect design domains that are currently often separated and thus enable consistency checks, for example. To accelerate software design, the models also enable the application of automation steps in both the development and operational phases.
In the scope of the project, SoftCPS researchers are devising new methods to analysis IoT systems using models, allowing to define and generate the configuration of the system.
GenerIoT is an ITEA4 project (reference number: 21014).
