The Polytechnic of Porto – School of Engineering (ISEP), the University of Beira Interior, and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro are organizing, in the city of Porto, Portugal, from November 17 to 19, 2025, the CIRMARE 2025.

Since its inception, CIRMARE has been an international forum for disseminating recent scientific developments in the field of building recovery, maintenance, and rehabilitation, covering civil engineering, architecture, and related sciences.

The congress remains a multidisciplinary reference for professionals, students, and researchers from Portugal, Brazil, Ibero-American countries, and other continents, promoting a diverse technical program with internationally recognized keynote speakers and several parallel sessions on emerging and innovative topics.

Under the main theme “New Challenges in Adapting and Preserving the Built Heritage”, CIRMARE 2025 aims to foster sustainable, digital, and resilient practices in building rehabilitation and maintenance, seeking disruptive solutions to meet current and future societal needs.
