caret-color: rgb(33, 33, 33); color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 14.666667px;\">Pedro Monteiro is a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.isep.ipp.pt\/softcps\/\">Software for Cyber-Physical Systems (SoftCPS)<\/a> research group at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isep.ipp.pt\">School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP)<\/a>, where he is currently developing his Master&#8217;s thesis. He earned his Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Informatics Engineering from ISEP in 2024, graduating with a Diploma of Merit.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"white-space: normal; caret-color: rgb(33, 33, 33); color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 14.666667px;\">Pedro is currently pursuing a Master&#8217;s in Artificial Intelligence Engineering at ISEP. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"white-space: normal; caret-color: rgb(33, 33, 33); color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 14.666667px;\">Alongside his academic path, he has maintained a professional career in industry; during the first year of the Master&#8217;s in Omnium:retail and now he currently serves as a Junior Backend Engineer at Uphold.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"white-space: normal; caret-color: rgb(33, 33, 33); color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 14.666667px;\">Outside of work, Pedro has played sports all his life and loves staying active.
