The BullyBan, a project developed at ISEP, by Susana Nicola, Alberto Pereira and Tiago Santos won, for the first time, the national final 16th edition of the Poliempreende contest. This year’s edition count with 21 projects in the entrepreneurship area promoted by all the portuguese polytechnics. The awards were in the monetary value and are intended to accelarate the implementation of the projects.
The objective of the BullyBan project, is to create tools to erase bullying from schools. Based on sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms, the behavioural patterns will be analysed, and the risk cases will be notified to school authorities and psychologists. This will allow schools to quickly identify the problem and solve it.
